Waycross has a variety of acommodations, meeting rooms, and unique facility offerings not available at many venues. As you can tell by our list below, many types of events can be hosted here, from small to large. Photos of the center and our offerings are included in the Photos section. Enjoy spacious overnight accommodations for up to 64 people in 32 semi-private rooms with baths. Forty-four additional beds are available at our Retreat House and camp facilities. Seven meeting rooms of various sizes, complete with audio and visual capabilities, can meet all your group's needs. Delicious meals are prepared at the conference center's kitchen and three meals a day are included in the price of the conference.
Completed in the spring of 2004 and designed as a multi-purpose facility, this magnificent building is located between the camp and conference center areas. It will house the camp kitchen and dining space in the summer months and will serve as a meeting space for up to 200 during the rest of the year. There are also three additional breakout rooms available for conference groups.
The Retreat House is a haven of peace and restoration, a place set apart to find physical and spiritual refreshment and renewal in a setting of magical serenity and beauty. It is open to individuals and not-for-profit groups for these purposes. Generally groups using this facility provide their own meals in the house kitchen. Bed linens and towels are not provided, unless pre-contracted.
The Retreat House is a large, comfortable country home with eight bedrooms, kitchen, living room with fireplace, dining room and chapel area. It is located on Hickory Hill, the highest point of Waycross Episcopal Camp and Conference Center, far away from the daily activities of both the camp and conference center. There are acres of trails for nature hikes and meditation time.
The Main House provides comfortable shared lodging (for up to 42 guests) in multi-bed rooms with shared baths. With its discount pricing, it is ideal for families or groups that don't mind 2-5 persons to a room. It has been newly remodeled in the past 2 years and is fully climate controlled. This facility also includes both small group meeting and social areas, in addition to a coffee bar and refrigerator. For adults, it is perfect for a small group of 10-15.
Waycross has 10 new cabins forming a large, sweeping circle in the center of camp. Close enough for community and separated enough for privacy, each cabin has screened windows all around, five double-deck bunk beds for seven or eight campers and staff, a center space for cabin gatherings, and a dressing room.
